LXGIC Clipper ("the Service", "we", "our") is an automated content pipeline that detects highlight moments from a streamer's own live broadcasts, produces short vertical video clips, and publishes them to social media accounts that the streamer has explicitly connected. This policy explains what data we access, why, and how it is handled.
This policy applies to the account owner(s) who connect their own TikTok (and other social) accounts to the Service in order to receive automatically generated clips from their own livestream content. The Service does not offer public sign-up; accounts are connected directly by their owners through our self-hosted publishing dashboard (Postiz, an open-source scheduling tool we operate on our own infrastructure).
When an account owner connects their TikTok account, we request the following TikTok API scopes, and no others:
user.info.basic, user.info.profile — display name, avatar, username,
to show the connected account correctly in our dashboard.user.info.stats — follower count, following count, likes count, video count,
used only to show basic performance stats to the account owner themselves.video.upload, video.publish — to upload and publish video clips
that the account owner's own content pipeline generated from their own livestream, on their
behalf and under their control. We use the OAuth access/refresh tokens issued by TikTok solely to publish video content that the account owner's own pipeline produced, to their own connected account. We do not access, read, or publish any content unrelated to this purpose. We do not use TikTok data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the publishing pipeline described above.
OAuth tokens and basic profile information are stored on our own self-hosted server infrastructure, protected by access controls. Tokens are retained only for as long as the account remains connected. Video files processed by the pipeline are retained temporarily for operational purposes and then deleted on a rolling schedule.
We do not sell, rent, or share TikTok account data with third parties. Data is not used by any advertising network. No data is transferred outside of operating the publishing pipeline described in this policy.
Account owners can disconnect their TikTok account at any time, either from within our dashboard or directly from TikTok's own app under Settings → Manage account → Manage apps and devices. Disconnecting immediately revokes our access tokens and stops any further publishing.
